On the left-hand side of the dialog, the lower area will show an
overview of the current configuration of the button. By clicking one of
the links, the relevant settings will be shown in the properties
dialog, from which they can also be edited.
1. Button type
1.1. Button
The button will be displayed as a button in the browser.
1.2. Text
The button will be displayed as a text link in the browser.
1.3. Image
An image of your choice will be used as a button in the browser.
2. Text
This menu point is shown when the button type is set to either Button or Text.
2.1. Static text
If the option Static title is selected, a title can be entered that will be shown as the button's label in the browser, if the button type Button is selected- If the button type Text us selected, the text, which will be displayed as a link, can be entered here.

a value from a data field as the title.
2.4. Show text if access permissions are insufficient
If the setting Show text if access permissions are
insufficient is activated, a message will appear if the user
possesses insufficient page or data group permissions, notifying him or
her of this condition.
2.5. Show “empty” when value does not exist
With the setting Show "empty" when value does not exist,
the word “Empty” will be shown in the case of a
null value.
2.6. Adjust height / width on button text
With Adjust height / width on button Text, the size
of the button will be automatically adjusted according to the size
of the text.

3. Image
An image can be selected here for the Image button type.
When the user clicks on the image in the browser, the
button action
is triggered.
3.1. Static image
With this option, a static image with or without an option for MouseOver can be used.
Edit
Opens the dialog for selecting the image.
Remove
Removes the image.
With the arrow buttons the selected image in
Image /Image on MouseOver can be copied to the other field.
Edit text alternative
Opens a dialog where the text, that should be displayed as an alternative for the image
on devices that cannot display images, can be entered.
If you click on OK here, the button will
be created. The size of an image will then be adjusted to the size
of the button on the workspace. With the
Set original size from the
context menu, you can
show the image in its original size on the workspace.
3.2. Image from data field
Default image
The image selected here is shown when the linked data field does not
deliever a value.
Edit
Opens the dialog for selecting the image.
Remove
Removes the image.
Edit text alternative
Opens a dialog where the text, that should be displayed as an alternative for the image
on devices that cannot display images, can be entered.
Show text if access permissions are insufficient
If a user has insufficient page or data group permissions, a message will
be shown that will make the user aware of this fact.
Apply correct orientation for rotated images
Images from digital cameras always have the same aspect ratio. If a
photo is taken upright, the motif will later be shown in a horizontal
position in the image. As a rule, cameras possess a position sensor.
Instead of rotating the image correspondingly, they will write the
positioning information to the image. With the sApply correct
orientation for rotated images setting, the positioning information
will be evaluated by Intrexx and rotate the image if required.
Maximum size: Width / Height
The image size is limited to the pixel value entered here.
Crop image
Allows the width and height of the image to be adjusted to
the aspect ratio of the button.
Scale up smaller images
Smaller images will be enlarged up to the given maximum size.
Optimize file size for thumbnails (reduce)
The file size is reduced, with the goal of speeding up the
loading time of the application page.
Adjust control size for maximum size
When changing the button size on the workspace, the current
width and
height will be entered automatically into the general
properties. If this setting is not activated, these values and the
size of the control will not be synchronized on the workspace.
