Content
Subject
In
Subject you can enter any static subject, which will be applied to every email that will be sent by this button.
Data field
The subject can also be determined dynamically from the value of a data field. To do so, click on the
Field
checkbox, and select the required data field from the drop-down list.
Page
From the drop-down list, select the view page that is to be sent.
The values of the current dataset will automatically be applied. Please
note that all recipients of the email will need to have read access to
the page. If the intended recipient does not have read access to the
page, then the email will not be sent.
Format
HTML
If the
HTML option is selected, the email will be sent in
HTML format. With that format, buttons that link to pages from
applications can be added.
Text
If the
Text option is selected, the values in the view and edit fields will be displayed in text format, and separated by tab stops.
SMS
If the
SMS option is selected, all line breaks will be
removed, and the complete text will be placed in the subject, and it
will be sent via SMS, if the sending of SMS messages has been setup by
your telecommunications service provider.
Sender
Current user
Selecting the
Current User option will query the email address of the current user from the User Manager and enter it as the sender.
Superior
If the
Superior option is selected, the email address of
the person recorded as being responsible for the application will be
entered in this field. This refers to the user, who has most recently saved the application to which the process belongs.
Defined address
The
Defined address option allows any static email address you choose to be entered.
From data field
The option
From data field allows a data field to be entered as a dynamic sender list.
Default sender
With the setting
Default sender (user defined in Email service configuration)
the user will which is stored in the email service settings in the
Tools module will be used as sender.
