3. Filters
On the overview page of each Intrexx Share module,
you'll find - depending on the currently opened module - different filters
which you can use to restrict the information.
Filter buttons
With the following filter buttons, the content of the middle column can be filtered
in Intrexx Share:
Important filters by posts which have been
marked as important.
Urgent filters by posts which have been
marked as urgent.
Reminders filters by posts for which
you have requested a reminder
Read confirmation filters by posts which have been
marked with a read confirmation.
Favorites filters by posts which
you have requested set as a favorite.
Filters can be deactivated by clicking on the respective button again.
Due date
With this slider, you can filter the posts, where you have selected the option
Remind me, using the following time periods:
Due next week
Due this week
Due today
Overdue
Intrexx Share differentiates between two types of due dates:
A due date is defined by you when using the
Remind me
action.
A due date is defined by the
Plugin
in the Application Designer.
To begin with, this filter doesn't differentiate between whether the due date
was defined by a plugin or by you. If you additionally activate the filter
Reminders, only the posts, for which you've
provided a due date yourself, will be shown.
Search term
With this filter, you can search through the posts of your current module
based on the text you enter into this field. Both post and comment text
will be searched through here.
Categories
The top part of this filter displays the categories available in your portal
such as Tasks, Appointments, Messages etc. The bottom area, you can find the
applications, for which
Plugins
have been defined, that you have subscirbed to.
When you select a category, the bottom half will automatically only show
the applications which are included in this category. Multiple categories
and applications can be defined as filters at the same time.
Date
With this filter, you can restrict the time period of the posts shown. The
current date is highlighted in color in the calendar. You can select a time period
by holding down the left mouse button and dragging out the required time period.
To select an entire month, click on the calendar's header and then on the
month's name. With
Previous and
Next you can move backwards and forwards through
the months. If you move the mouse over the month in the header, a list will open
with all 12 months. Select one of the months to select all of the days of
this month. If you move the mouse over the year in the calendar's header, a list
will open displaying the previous 4 years, the current year, and the next
4 years.
If the calendar doesn't show the current month, you can click on the link
Today at the bottom of the calendar to navigate
to the current date. The element Filter by date
also provides a year view which allows you to select multiple months at once.
To switch between the month and year view, right-click on the calendar and select
the view you need.
In the year view, you can also filter by quarter.
To do this, click on one of the quarters (Q1 to Q4) on the left-hand side.
Current filter
All active filters are shown in the middle column of Intrexx Share above the
posts.
Individual filters can be deactivated by clicking on the corresponding
filter action.
Alternatively, you can click on the same filter again in the
Filters area, where you initially activated the
filter.
Save current filter saves your individually defined
filter for the current page. The settings for the filters
Date and Search term will not be included
in this.
Reset current filter restores the original filter
settings - depending on which module you're in.
Please note that the filter works both when accessing Share with
a desktop PC as well as with a mobile device.
4. Uploading files and images
If you see the File selection element on a page,
you are able to upload images or files, such as your profile image here.
Upload the desired image or file by dragging it to the corresponding area
or by selecting it from a directory by clicking on the
File selection. In most areas, uploading multiple

File selection, and can be removed again by

this, you can search for the term entered in the edit field in the predefined
lists in Intrexx Share. If the entered term isn't found in the list, it can be
added easily by clicking on Save. The new term
is now available to all users in the corresponding list.
6. Showing and hiding text

automatically shortened,
Click on the text to show the currently hidden part.
The long text can be hidden again by clicking on the link
Show less.
7. Sort order of feeds
The basic sorting of posts can be specified in your personal settings. However, it may sometimes be helpful to temporarily change the ordering of the posts.
Each post has a positioning date that determines its position in the list. Posts that you write directly in Intrexx Share are given the creation date as the positioning date. For these posts, therefore, the post that has been created most recently will appear at the top. For posts that are created by apps, the date to be used as the positioning date, and the position at which the post will initially be listed, can be specified in the configuration of the corresponding
plugins. To determine the list order, you can use, for example, the date the post was created, a fixed date, or a relative time.
Last interaction takes into account whether comments have been made on a post, or if the post has been shared, and places the post to which there has most recently been an interaction at the top of the list, regardless of its positioning date.
Chronological
Chronological displays the posts sorted according to their positioning dates.
Even if comments are submitted, or the post is shared, the order of the
posts remains unchanged.
Last interaction
Last interaction takes into account whether comments have been made on a
post, or if the post has been shared, and places the post to which there
has most recently been an interaction at the top of the list, regardless
of its positioning date.

switch directly to the Advertisements module
by clicking on Next. There you can also create
advertisements yourself.

Here, you can see the four latest photo albums which have been made
visible to you in the

the title of the photo album. Click the preview image to switch to the selected

switch to the overview page of the Photos modules.
If there are no photo albums that have been assigned to you, the element is not
shown on your News page. You can then switch to the
Photos module via the navigation bar to, for example,
create a photo album yourself.

photo albums with groups etc.). The button is available if you are the creator
of the group, event, photo album etc., respectively.
When the button is clicked on, a tooltip opens
where you can create the objects which are appropriate for your connection.
You can also create a Connection to an existing object
by clicking on the corresponding link.
The object, which was open when you clicked on the
Connections button, is already entered here - in the example shown, a

All allowed objects are provided in the drop-down list. Select the object which
contains the data you'd like to connect.
You can see the master data of the target object at the bottom of the tooltip.

Afterwards, click on Save connection.

of the connected object to load the corresponding module and the target object.
If you click on
Show more information, additional information
about the object will be shown.
