1. Values from applications


Application, Data group

Select the application and data group whose values should be shown in the multiple selection.

Filter
Opens a dialog where a filter can be defined. The data is then shown in the multiple selection based on the filter criteria.

Saved value

Here, all data fields from the selected data group will be shown. You can define the field, whose values will be saved when the user selects an entry in the multiple selection. This gives you the ability, for example, to show names of employees in the multiple selection, but to save their ID number instead of the name.

Other settings

Maximum number of entries

The value limits the number of entries. With the value of -1, all entries will be shown.

Sorting

The entries in the multiple selection are sorted based on the fields shown here.

Opens a dialog where the sorting fields can be selected.

Selection filter

Here, you have the ability to add filter buttons above the multiple selection. The active selection filter is entered here.

Opens a dialog where you can assign the images and define the filter.

Adjust displayed value for saved value

If this setting has been activated, the data from the data field selected in the setting Saved value will be shown in the multiple selection.

Displayed values

The current displayed value is shown here.

Displayed values Opens a dialog where a displayed value that differs from the saved value can be selected.

2. Users and groups




With this setting, the multiple selection will be used for the selection of users, user groups, and additional objects from the User Manager. You can also define which filter buttons (Users, groups, Distribution Lists, Organizational Units, Roles) will be shown in the browser.

Maximum number of elements in dialog

With this setting, the number of search hits to be shown can be restricted. In the users and groups selection, no additional filters can be defined or changes made to the existing filter settings.

Selection filter for the control

Shows you how many filter buttons in the browser have been defined.

Opens a dialog where the selection filters of the control can be edited.

Create / Edit distribution list

These show the corresponding buttons in the browser for the creation and editing of distribution lists.

Display deactivated users

With this setting, the users whose accounts are disabled in the users module will also be displayed.

Customize displayed values

The users shown by the users and groups list can be edited.

Opens the dialog for editing displayed values.

3. Static values




User-defined values are values that do not stem from a data source, but rather are entered statically.

Data type of the stored value

Specify the data type that should be used for saving the selected value.

Value to be displayed column

The value entered here will be shown in the multiple selection in the browser.

Value to be stored column

The value entered here will be saved in the data field connected to the multiple selection.

Default

The displayed value whose checkbox is activated in this column is preselected when the page is loaded.

Add new user-defined value
Opens a dialog where a new value can be defined.

Remove user-defined value
Deletes the value currently selected.

Edit user-defined value
Opens a dialog where the value can be edited.

Move up / Move down
Adjusts the order of the entries.
