Processes and Intrexx Share

The Process Designer provides a range of possibilities to actively engage in the creation of feeds and system messages. The following actions are available:

Plugin Feed Action

This action responds to data group events, or timer events, or to timer events. First, select a data group, events from which you wish to react. Connect the plugin-feed action with the event.

A data group context is not absolutely necessary at this point. The action can be associated with all data group event handlers. For the subsequent primary key mapping, the value to be assigned can, for example, be taken from the processing context, if no data group context is available.

Double click on the plugin feed action to open the properties dialog box.

Text Feed Action

The text feed action makes it possible to create a customized feed. This is useful when a feed cannot be assigned directly to a data group. So, for example, you can send automated system monitoring messages to IT staff (e.g. disk space quota), notice of scheduled maintenance, employees’ birthdays, etc.

System Messages Action

The System Message Action does not generate a feed, but just a system message that is displayed to the user on the Intrexx Share action bar. Thus, for example, you can discreetly inform users about changes in status, licensing processes, etc.
