Reverse filters will be used when one wants to navigate to levels that
are superior to the starting point of the relationship control.
If, for example, a relationship diagram has as starting point a Customers
level and a subordinate level named Activities,
one can also navigate in the view control without a reverse filter from
an activity to the customer, if the Customers level
has been selected as the starting point of the view control.
If, however, the Activities level has been chosen
as starting point in the view control, a reverse filter must be
configured to accomplish this. This has the effect that, above the
activities in the end device, a link to all customers will also be
shown, which is assigned to this activity.
