Portal Properties: Search - Text Analysis

In the Analyzer selection list, you can select a language for additional analysis filters. This can help you to improve the quality of the search results significantly. For example, you can customize the hyphenation to suit your portal language, or perform a phonetic similarity search, or take account of special terminology with a Thesaurus in the Search facility.

By clicking on

Add analysis filter, the list of all available filters will be shown in a further dialog.

By clicking on

Delete analysis filter or Delete character filter, a filter will be removed from the list. The order in which filters will be used in the search can be changed with the help of the arrow buttons.
