Options

In the Extras/Options menu, settings for the Portal Manager can be affected.

Common Settings - External Programs

You can choose which external programs are used to open or edit which data types here.

In order to use the full range of functions in the document generator, an appropriate text processor should be installed to edit *.odt files (such as OpenOffice / LibreOffice).

Here you see the default installation directory for LibreOffice and OpenOffice under different operating systems:

Windows

c:\Program Files (x86)\OpenOffice 4
c:\Program Files (x86)\LibreOffice 4

Mac

/Applications/OpenOffice.app

Linux

Please note that the directories that are mentioned here are located on the client - the system on which the Intrexx Portal Manager is running.
