The New Data Field option is enabled for edit elements and will create a new data field that will be automatically connected to the edit element. All data that is later entered to the edit field will be saved to this data field.
If you select the setting to Link To Existing Data Field, the data field can be selected after clicking Next.
With the No Link option, the element will be created without a data field connected data field.
