In Subject you can enter any static subject, which will be applied to every e-mail that will be sent by this button.
The subject can also be determined dynamically from the value of a data field. To do so, click the Field
checkbox, and select the required data field from the selection list.
From the selection list, select the view page that is to be sent.
The values of the current dataset will automatically be applied. Please
note that all recipients of the e-mail will need to have read access to
the page. If the intended recipient does not have read access to the
page, then the e-mail will not be sent.
If the HTML option is selected, the e-mail will be sent in
HTML format. With that format, buttons that link to pages from
applications can be added.
If the Text option is selected, the values in the view and edit fields will be displayed in text format, and separated by tab stops.
If the SMS option is selected, all line breaks will be
removed, and the complete text will be placed in the subject, and it
will be sent via SMS, if the sending of SMS messages has been setup by
your telecommunications service provider.
Selecting the Current User option will query the e-mail address of the current user from the User Manager and enter it as the sender.
If the Superior option is selected, the e-mail address of
the person recorded as being responsible for the application will be
entered in this field. This refers to the user, who has most recently saved the application to which the process belongs.
The Defined address option allows any static e-mail address you choose to be entered.
